Quick Renaming Icons
Written by hackerzone05 on 12:57 PMWould you like to change the name of one of your icons on your desktop to something a little spunkier and fun? Or maybe you just need to change the spelling of the icon title. Well, here's a quick and easy way for you to do that.
Highlight the icon and hit the F2 key. That will automatically change the text box so you can type in the new name, whatever you would like it to be.
Maybe you would like to change your My Computer icon so it says your name. Or maybe you have an Outlook Express icon on your desktop and you would just like it to say My Mail. You can do that and everything else with the F2 function key.
So, go ahead and mix your desktop up a little and have fun with it!
